Translation of the meanings Ayah: (63) Surah: Al-Furqān
وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمٰنِ الَّذِیْنَ یَمْشُوْنَ عَلَی الْاَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَّاِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجٰهِلُوْنَ قَالُوْا سَلٰمًا ۟
رحمٰن کے (سچے) بندے وه ہیں جو زمین پر فروتنی کے ساتھ چلتے ہیں اور جب بے علم لوگ ان سے باتیں کرنے لگتے ہیں تو وه کہہ دیتے ہیں کہ سلام ہے.(1)
(1) سلام سے مراد یہاں اعراض اور ترک بحث و مجادلہ ہے۔ یعنی اہل ایمان، اہل جہالت و اہل سفاہت سے الجھتے نہیں ہیں بلکہ ایسے موقعوں پر اعراض و گریز کی پالیسی اختیار کرتے ہیں اور بے فائدہ بحث نہیں کرتے۔
