Translation of the meanings Ayah: (32) Surah: Ash-Shu‘arā’
فَاَلْقٰی عَصَاهُ فَاِذَا هِیَ ثُعْبَانٌ مُّبِیْنٌ ۟ۚۖ
(1) بعض جگہ ثُعْبَانٌ کو حَيَّةٌ اور بعض جگہ جَانٌّ کہا گیاہے۔ ثُعْبَانٌ وہ سانپ ہوتا ہے جو بڑا ہو اور جَانٌّ چھوٹے سانپ کو کہتے ہیں اور حَيَّةٌ چھوٹے بڑے دونوں قسم کےسانپوں پر بولا جاتا ہے۔ (فتح القدیر) گویا لاٹھی نے پہلے چھوٹے سانپ کی شکل اختیار کی پھر دیکھتے دیکھتے اژدھا بن گئی۔ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ۔
