Translation of the meanings Ayah: (23) Surah: Yā-Sīn
ءَاَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖۤ اٰلِهَةً اِنْ یُّرِدْنِ الرَّحْمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّیْ شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَیْـًٔا وَّلَا یُنْقِذُوْنِ ۟ۚ
کیا میں اسے چھوڑ کر ایسوں کو معبود بناؤں کہ اگر (اللہ) رحمٰن مجھے کوئی نقصان پہنچانا چاہے تو ان کی سفارش مجھے کچھ بھی نفع نہ پہنچا سکے اور نہ وه مجھے بچا سکیں.(1)
(1) یہ ان معبودان باطلہ کی بے بسی کی وضاحت ہے جن کی عبادت اس کی قوم کرتی تھی اور شرک کی اس گمراہی سے نکالنے کے لئے رسول ان کی طرف بھیجے گئے تھے۔ نہ بچا سکیں کا مطلب ہے کہ اللہ اگر مجھے کوئی نقصان پہنچانا چاہے تو یہ بچا نہیں سکتے۔
