Translation of the meanings Ayah: (123) Surah: As-Sāffāt
وَاِنَّ اِلْیَاسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ ۟ؕ
(1) یہ حضرت ہارون (عليه السلام) کی اولاد میں سے ایک اسرائیلی نبی تھے۔ یہ جس علاقے میں بھیجے گئے تھے اس کا نام بعلبک تھا، بعض کہتے ہیں اس جگہ کا نام سامرہ ہے جوفلسطین کا مغربی وسطی علاقہ ہے۔ یہاں کے لوگ بعل نامی بت کے پجاری تھے۔(بعض کہتے ہیں یہ دیوی کا نام تھا)۔
