Translation of the meanings Ayah: (169) Surah: As-Sāffāt
لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ اللّٰهِ الْمُخْلَصِیْنَ ۟
(1) ذکر سے مراد کوئی کتاب الٰہی یا پیغمبر ہے۔ یعنی یہ کفار نزول قرآن سے پہلے کہا کرتے تھے کہ ہمارے پاس بھی کوئی آسمانی کتاب ہوتی، جس طرح پہلے لوگوں پر تورات وغیرہ نازل ہوئیں۔ یا کوئی ہادی اور منذر ہمیں وعظ ونصیحت کرنے والا ہوتا، تو ہم بھی اللہ کے خالص بندے بن جاتے۔
