Translation of the meanings Ayah: (75) Surah: As-Sāffāt
وَلَقَدْ نَادٰىنَا نُوْحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ الْمُجِیْبُوْنَ ۟ؗۖ
(1) یعنی ساڑھے نو سو سال کی تبلیغ کے باوجود جب قوم کی اکثریت نے ان کی تکذیب ہی کی اور انہوں نے محسوس کر لیا کہ ایمان لانے کی کوئی امید نہیں ہے تو اپنے رب کو پکارا«فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ» (سورة القمر: 10) ”یا اللہ میں مغلوب ہوں، میری مدد فرما“۔ چنانچہ ہم نے نوح (عليه السلام) کی دعا قبول کی اور ان کی قوم کو طوفان بھیج کر ہلاک کر دیا۔
