Translation of the meanings Ayah: (94) Surah: As-Sāffāt
فَاَقْبَلُوْۤا اِلَیْهِ یَزِفُّوْنَ ۟
(1) يَزِفُّونَ، يُسْرِعُونَ، یسرعون کے معنی میں ہے، دوڑتے ہوئے آئے۔ یعنی جب میلے سے آئے تو دیکھا کہ ان کے معبود ٹوٹے پھوٹے پڑے ہیں تو فوراً ان کا ذہن ابراہیم (عليه السلام) کی طرف گیا، کہ یہ کام اسی نے کیا ہوگا،جیسا کہ سورۂ انبیاء میں تفصیل گزر چکی ہے چنانچہ انہیں پکڑ کر عوام کی عدالت میں لے آئے۔ وہاں حضرت ابراہیم (عليه السلام) کو اس بات کا موقع مل گیا کہ وہ ان پر ان کی بے عقلی اور ان کے معبودوں کی بے اختیاری واضح کریں۔
