Translation of the meanings Ayah: (4) Surah: Al-Hujurāt
اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ یُنَادُوْنَكَ مِنْ وَّرَآءِ الْحُجُرٰتِ اَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا یَعْقِلُوْنَ ۟
(1) یہ آیت قبیلہ بنو تمیم کے بعض اعرابیوں (گنوار قسم کے لوگوں) کے بارے میں نازل ہوئی، جنہوں نے ایک روز دوپہر کےوقت، جو کہ نبی ﹲ (صلى الله عليه وسلم) کےقیلولے کا وقت تھا، حجرے سےباہر کھڑے ہو کر عامیانہ انداز سے یا محمد یا محمد کی آوازیں لگائیں تاکہ آپ (صلى الله عليه وسلم) باہر تشریف لے ائیں۔ (مسند احمد3 / 488۔ 6 / 394) اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا: ان کی اکثریت بے عقل ہے۔ اس کا مطلب یہ ہوا کہ نبی (صلى الله عليه وسلم) کی جلالت شان اور آپ (صلى الله عليه وسلم) کےادب واحترام کے تقاضوں کا خیال نہ رکھنا، بے عقلی ہے۔
