Translation of the meanings Ayah: (41) Surah: Adh-Dhāriyāt
وَفِیْ عَادٍ اِذْ اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَیْهِمُ الرِّیْحَ الْعَقِیْمَ ۟ۚ
اسی طرح عادیوں میں(1) بھی (ہماری طرف سے تنبیہ ہے) جب کہ ہم نے ان پر خیر وبرکت سے(2) خالی آندھی بھیجی.
(1) أَيْ : تَرَكْنَا فِي قِصَّةِ عَادٍ آيَةً عاد کے قصے میں بھی ہم نے نشانی چھوڑی۔
(2) الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ (بانجھ ہوا) جس میں خیر وبرکت نہیں تھی، وہ ہوا درختوں کو ثمر آور کرنے والی تھی نہ بارش کی پیامبر، بلکہ صرف ہلاکت اور عذاب کی ہوا تھی۔
(2) الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ (بانجھ ہوا) جس میں خیر وبرکت نہیں تھی، وہ ہوا درختوں کو ثمر آور کرنے والی تھی نہ بارش کی پیامبر، بلکہ صرف ہلاکت اور عذاب کی ہوا تھی۔
