Translation of the meanings Ayah: (20) Surah: At-Toor
مُتَّكِـِٕیْنَ عَلٰی سُرُرٍ مَّصْفُوْفَةٍ ۚ— وَزَوَّجْنٰهُمْ بِحُوْرٍ عِیْنٍ ۟
برابر بچھے ہوئے شاندار تختے پر تکیے لگائے ہوئے(1) ۔ اور ہم نے ان کے نکاح بڑی بڑی آنکھوں والی (حوروں) سے کر دیئے ہیں.
(1) مَصْفُوفَةٍ، ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ ملے ہوئے۔ گویا وہ ایک صف ہیں۔ یا بعض نے اس کامﻔہوم بیان کیا ہے کہ ان کے چہرے ایک دوسرے کے سامنے ہوں گے، جیسے میدان جنگ میں فوجیں ایک دوسرے کے سامنے ہوتی ہیں۔ اس مفہوم کو قرآن میں دوسری جگہ ان الفاظ میں بیان کیا گیا ہے۔ «عَلَى سُرُرٍ مُتَقَابِلِينَ» (الصافات: 44) ”ایک دوسرےکے سامنے تختوں پر فروکش ہوں گے“۔
