Translation of the meanings Ayah: (14) Surah: Al-An‘ām
قُلْ اَغَیْرَ اللّٰهِ اَتَّخِذُ وَلِیًّا فَاطِرِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَهُوَ یُطْعِمُ وَلَا یُطْعَمُ ؕ— قُلْ اِنِّیْۤ اُمِرْتُ اَنْ اَكُوْنَ اَوَّلَ مَنْ اَسْلَمَ وَلَا تَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ ۟
آپ کہیے کہ کیا اللہ کے سوا، جو کہ آسمانوں اور زمین کا پیدا کرنے واﻻ ہے اور جو کہ کھانے کو دیتا ہے اور اس کو کوئی کھانے کو نہیں دیتا، اور کسی کو معبود قرار دوں(1) ، آپ فرما دیجئے کہ مجھ کو یہ حکم ہوا ہے کہ سب سے پہلے میں اسلام قبول کروں اور تو مشرکین میں ہرگز نہ ہونا۔
(1) ”وَلِيٌّ“ سے مراد یہاں معبود ہے جیسا کہ ترجمہ سے واضح ہے ورنہ دوست بنانا تو جائز ہے۔
