Translation of the meanings Ayah: (72) Surah: Al-An‘ām
وَاَنْ اَقِیْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاتَّقُوْهُ ؕ— وَهُوَ الَّذِیْۤ اِلَیْهِ تُحْشَرُوْنَ ۟
(1) ”وَأَنْ أَقِيمُوا“ کا عطف لِنُسْلِمَ پر ہے یعنی ہمیں حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ ہم رب العالمین کے مطیع ہوجائیں اور یہ کہ ہم نماز قائم کریں اور اس سے ڈریں۔ تسلیم وانقیاد الٰہی کے بعد سب سے پہلا حکم اقامت صلوۃ کا دیا گیا ہے جس سے نماز کی اہمیت واضح ہے اور اس کے بعد تقویٰ کا حکم ہے کہ نماز کی پابندی تقویٰ اور خشوع کے بغیر ممکن نہیں ”وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلا عَلَى الْخَاشِعِينَ“ (البقرة: 45 )
