Translation of the meanings Ayah: (2) Surah: Al-Jumu‘ah
هُوَ الَّذِیْ بَعَثَ فِی الْاُمِّیّٖنَ رَسُوْلًا مِّنْهُمْ یَتْلُوْا عَلَیْهِمْ اٰیٰتِهٖ وَیُزَكِّیْهِمْ وَیُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ ۗ— وَاِنْ كَانُوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَفِیْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِیْنٍ ۟ۙ
وہی ہے جس نے ناخوانده لوگوں(1) میں ان ہی میں سے ایک رسول بھیجا جو انہیں اس کی آیتیں پڑھ کر سناتا ہے اور ان کو پاک کرتا ہے اور انہیں کتاب وحکمت سکھاتا ہے۔ یقیناً یہ اس سے پہلے کھلی گمراہی میں تھے.
(1) أُمِّيِّينَ سے مراد عرب ہیں جن کی اکثریت ان پڑھ تھی۔ ان کے خصوصی ذکر کا یہ مطلب نہیں کہ آپ (صلى الله عليه وسلم) کی رسالت دوسروں کے لیے نہیں تھی، لیکن چونکہ اولین مخاطب وہ تھے، اس لیے اللہ کا ان پر یہ زیادہ احسان تھا۔
