Translation of the meanings Ayah: (5) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
فَمَا كَانَ دَعْوٰىهُمْ اِذْ جَآءَهُمْ بَاْسُنَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ قَالُوْۤا اِنَّا كُنَّا ظٰلِمِیْنَ ۟
سو جس وقت ان پر ہمارا عذاب آیا اس وقت ان کے منھ سے بجز اس کے اور کوئی بات نہ نکلی کہ واقعی ہم ﻇالم تھے۔(1)
(1) لیکن عذاب آجانے کے بعد ایسے اعتراف کا کوئی فائدہ نہیں۔ جیسا کہ پہلے وضاحت گذر چکی ہے «فَلَمْ يَكُ يَنْفَعُهُمْ إِيمَانُهُمْ لَمَّا رَأَوْا بَأْسَنَا» (المؤمن: 85) ”جب انہوں نے ہمارا عذاب دیکھ لیا تو اس وقت ان کا ایمان لانا، ان کے لئے نفع مند نہیں ہوا“۔
