Translation of the meanings Ayah: (1) Surah: Al-Muzzammil
سورۂ مُزّمّل
یٰۤاَیُّهَا الْمُزَّمِّلُ ۟ۙ
(1) جس وقت یہ آیت نازل ہوئی نبی کریم (صلى الله عليه وسلم) چادر اوڑھے ہوئے تھے اللہ نے آپ کی اسی کیفیت کو بیان کرتے ہوئے فرمایا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اب چادر چھوڑ دیں اور رات کو تھوڑا قیام کریں یعنی نماز تہجد پڑھیں کہا جاتا ہے کہ اس حکم کی بناء پر تہجد آپ کے لیے واجب تھی۔ (ابن کثیر)
