وَإِذَآ أَرَدۡنَآ أَن نُّهۡلِكَ قَرۡيَةً أَمَرۡنَا مُتۡرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُواْ فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡهَا ٱلۡقَوۡلُ فَدَمَّرۡنَٰهَا تَدۡمِيرٗا
Khi muốn tiêu diệt một thị trấn, TA truyền lệnh cho thị dân nào của nó sống sung túc (bảo: hãy thần phục TA và ăn ở đạo đức); nhưng chúng ngoan cố và làm điều thối nát; vì thế, khi Lời (trừng phạt của TA) đã được xác định đối với nó thì lúc đó TA sẽ tiêu diệt nó hoàn toàn.
