إِذۡ هَمَّت طَّآئِفَتَانِ مِنكُمۡ أَن تَفۡشَلَا وَٱللَّهُ وَلِيُّهُمَاۗ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
(Hãy nhớ) khi hai đội quân (của bộ lạc Banu Salma Khazraj và bộ lạc Banu Harithah) thuộc lực lượng của các ngươi có tư tưởng hèn nhát (muốn bỏ ngũ) trong lúc Allah là Đấng Bảo vệ cho hai đội quân đó. Và những người có đức tin nên tin cậy mà phó thác cho Allah.
