فَرَجَعَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ غَضۡبَٰنَ أَسِفٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ أَلَمۡ يَعِدۡكُمۡ رَبُّكُمۡ وَعۡدًا حَسَنًاۚ أَفَطَالَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡعَهۡدُ أَمۡ أَرَدتُّمۡ أَن يَحِلَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ غَضَبٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ فَأَخۡلَفۡتُم مَّوۡعِدِي

(Ànábì) Mūsā sì padà sọ́dọ̀ ìjọ rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ìbínú àti ìbànújẹ́. Ó sọ pé: “Ẹ̀yin ìjọ mi, ṣé Olúwa yín kò ti ba yín ṣe àdéhùn dáadáa ni? Ṣé àdéhùn ti pẹ́ jù lójú yín ni tàbí ẹ fẹ́ kí ìbínú kò le yín lórí láti ọ̀dọ̀ Olúwa yín ni ẹ fi yapa àdéhùn mi?”
