أَئِنَّكُمۡ لَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ وَتَقۡطَعُونَ ٱلسَّبِيلَ وَتَأۡتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ ٱلۡمُنكَرَۖ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوۡمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ ٱئۡتِنَا بِعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

Ṣé dájúdájú ẹ̀yin (ọkùnrin) yóò máa tọ àwọn ọkùnrin (ẹgbẹ́ yín) lọ (fún adùn ìbálòpọ̀), ẹ tún ń dánà, ẹ tún ń ṣe ohun burúkú nínú àkójọ yín? Èsì ìjọ rẹ̀ kò jẹ́ kiní kan àfi kí wọ́n wí pé¹: “Mú ìyà Allāhu wá fún wa tí o bá wà nínú àwọn olódodo.”

1. Ìyẹn kò túmọ̀ sí pé, ìjọ rẹ̀ kì í sọ ọ̀rọ̀ mìíràn láti fi takò ó. Àmọ́ gbogbo ọ̀rọ̀ ẹnu wọ́n máa ń dá lérí “mú ìyà wá”.
