خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفۡسٖ وَٰحِدَةٖ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۡهَا زَوۡجَهَا وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ ثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَزۡوَٰجٖۚ يَخۡلُقُكُمۡ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡ خَلۡقٗا مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ خَلۡقٖ فِي ظُلُمَٰتٖ ثَلَٰثٖۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُصۡرَفُونَ

Ó ṣẹ̀dá yín láti ara ẹ̀mí ẹyọ kan. Lẹ́yìn náà, Ó dá ìyàwó rẹ̀ láti ara rẹ̀. Ó sì sọ mẹ́jọ kalẹ̀ fún yín nínú ẹran-ọ̀sìn ní takọ- tabo. Ó ń ṣẹ̀dá yín sínú ìyá yín, ẹ̀dá kan lẹ́yìn ẹ̀dá kan nínú àwọn òkùnkùn mẹ́ta.¹ Ìyẹn ni Allāhu, Olúwa yín. TiRẹ̀ ni ìjọba. Kò sí ọlọ́hun kan tí a gbọ́dọ̀ jọ́sìn fún ní ọ̀nà òdodo àyàfi Òun. Nítorí náà, báwo ni wọ́n ṣe ń ṣẹ yín lórí kúrò níbi òdodo?

1. Àpò (tán-ánná), ilé ọmọ àti ikùn ni àwọn okùnkùn mẹ́ta náà. Ọlẹ̀ (tàbí ọmọ) máa wà nínú àpò kan tí à ń pè ní “tán-ánná. Tán-ánná wà nínú ilé ọmọ. Ilé ọmọ sì wà nínú ikùn obìnrin. Ọmọ tí a bí tí ó ṣe pé inú àpò ni ó wà láti inú ìyá rẹ̀ ni Yorùbá ń pè ní “ọ̀kẹ́”. Àmọ́ ọ̀pọ̀lọ́pọ̀ ọmọ ló jẹ́ pé, tán-ánná tirẹ̀ máa yọ́ sínú ẹjẹ̀ ìbímọ.
