Ayah: 38

وَٱلسَّارِقُ وَٱلسَّارِقَةُ فَٱقۡطَعُوٓاْ أَيۡدِيَهُمَا جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَٰلٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ

Olè lọ́kùnrin àti olè lóbìnrin, ẹ gé ọwọ́ àwọn méjèèjì.¹ (Ó jẹ́) ẹ̀san fún iṣẹ́ ọwọ́ àwọn méjèèjì. (Ó sì jẹ́) ìjìyà láti ọ̀dọ̀ Allāhu. Allāhu sì ni Alágbára, Ọlọ́gbọ́n.

1. Gígé ọwọ́ olè ní àwọn májẹ̀mu òdíwọ̀n ohun tí olè náà jí, ìbátan ààrin olè náà àti onídúkìá, ibi tí dúkìá náà wà àti ibi tí wọ́n máa gé nínú ọwọ́. Kíyè sí i, gbígbé ìdájọ́ ìjìyà kan dìde lórí ẹnikẹ́ni kò gbọ́dọ̀ wáyé àfi láti ọwọ́ ìjọ́ba ìlú tàbí pẹ̀lú ìyọ̀nda láti ọ̀dọ̀ ìjọba.
