ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ يَعۡرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا يَعۡرِفُونَ أَبۡنَآءَهُمُۘ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Àwọn tí A fún ní Tírà, wọ́n mọ̀ ọ́n gẹ́gẹ́ bí wọ́n ṣe mọ àwọn ọmọ wọn. Àwọn tó ṣe ẹ̀mí wọn lófò (sínú àìgbàgbọ́), wọn kò sí níí gbàgbọ́.¹

1. Gbólóhùn yìí “Àwọn tí A fún ní Tírà, wọ́n mọ̀ ọ́n” ń túmọ̀ sí pé, àwọn tó nímọ̀ nípa Taorāt àti ’Injīl mọ̀ pé nínú tírà méjèèjì, ọ̀kan ṣoṣo ni Ọlọ́hun Ẹlẹ́dàá àti pé Òjíṣẹ́ tí wọ́n ń retí ni Ànábì Muhammad - kí ìkẹ́ àti ọlà Allāhu máa bá a -, àmọ́ wọ́n daṣọ bo òtítọ́ mọ́lẹ̀. Ìdí nìyí tí āyah 21 fi pè wọ́n ní alábòsí.
