يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرۡسَىٰهَاۖ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا عِلۡمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّيۖ لَا يُجَلِّيهَا لِوَقۡتِهَآ إِلَّا هُوَۚ ثَقُلَتۡ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ لَا تَأۡتِيكُمۡ إِلَّا بَغۡتَةٗۗ يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَفِيٌّ عَنۡهَاۖ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا عِلۡمُهَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

Wọ́n ń bi ọ́ léèrè nípa Àkókò náà pé ìgbà wo ni ìṣẹ̀lẹ̀ rẹ̀. Sọ pé: “Ọ̀dọ̀ Olúwa mi nìkan ni ìmọ̀ rẹ̀ wà. Kò sí ẹni tó lè ṣàfi hàn Àkókò rẹ̀ àfi Òun. Ó ṣòro (láti mọ̀) fún àwọn ará sánmọ̀ àti ará ilẹ̀. Kò níí dé ba yín àfi lójijì.” Wọ́n tún ń bi ọ́ léèrè bí ẹni pé ìwọ nímọ̀ nípa rẹ̀. Sọ pé: “Ọ̀dọ̀ Olúwa mi nìkan ni ìmọ̀ rẹ̀ wà, ṣùgbọ́n ọ̀pọ̀lọ́pọ̀ ènìyàn ni kò mọ̀.”
