إِنَّمَا ٱلنَّسِيٓءُ زِيَادَةٞ فِي ٱلۡكُفۡرِۖ يُضَلُّ بِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُحِلُّونَهُۥ عَامٗا وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُۥ عَامٗا لِّيُوَاطِـُٔواْ عِدَّةَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ فَيُحِلُّواْ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُۚ زُيِّنَ لَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ أَعۡمَٰلِهِمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

Àlékún nínú àìgbàgbọ́ ni dídájọ́ sí àwọn oṣù ọ̀wọ̀ (láti ọwọ́ àwọn ọ̀ṣẹbọ). Wọ́n ń fi kó ìṣìnà bá àwọn tó ṣàì gbàgbọ́ (nípa pé) wọ́n ń ṣe oṣù ọ̀wọ̀ kan ní oṣù ẹ̀tọ́ (fún ogun jíjà) nínú ọdún kan, wọ́n sì ń bu ọ̀wọ̀ fún oṣù (tí kì í ṣe oṣù ọ̀wọ̀) nínú ọdún (mìíràn, wọn kò níí jagun nínú rẹ̀, wọ́n sì máa yọ òǹkà oṣù náà síra wọn) nítorí kí òǹkà tí Allāhu ṣe ní èèwọ̀ lè papọ̀ mọ́ra wọn (sínú àwọn oṣù tí kì í ṣe oṣù ọ̀wọ̀). Wọ́n sì tipasẹ̀ bẹ́ẹ̀ ṣe ní ẹ̀tọ́ ohun tí Allāhu ṣe ní èèwọ̀. Wọ́n ṣe iṣẹ́ aburú wọn ní ọ̀ṣọ́ fún wọn. Allāhu kò níí fi ọ̀nà mọ ìjọ aláìgbàgbọ́.
