وَإِذۡ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ لَمَآ ءَاتَيۡتُكُم مِّن كِتَٰبٖ وَحِكۡمَةٖ ثُمَّ جَآءَكُمۡ رَسُولٞ مُّصَدِّقٞ لِّمَا مَعَكُمۡ لَتُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِهِۦ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُۥۚ قَالَ ءَأَقۡرَرۡتُمۡ وَأَخَذۡتُمۡ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُمۡ إِصۡرِيۖ قَالُوٓاْ أَقۡرَرۡنَاۚ قَالَ فَٱشۡهَدُواْ وَأَنَا۠ مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ
81. (Recall) when Allāh made a Covenant through the Prophets [26], saying: "Certainly whatever I have given you the Scripture and Wisdom - then a messenger (Muhammad) comes to you confirming that which is with you, you must believe in him, and you must help him." 'Allāh' said: "Do you affirm and take on that My commitment in this (matter)?" They said: "We do affirm." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."
[26]. It is possible that this oath was taken at the time the offspring of Adam were taken out of his back as breaths or taken from each Prophet at the time of his mission”.
