قَالُواْ يَٰٓأَبَانَآ إِنَّا ذَهَبۡنَا نَسۡتَبِقُ وَتَرَكۡنَا يُوسُفَ عِندَ مَتَٰعِنَا فَأَكَلَهُ ٱلذِّئۡبُۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُؤۡمِنٖ لَّنَا وَلَوۡ كُنَّا صَٰدِقِينَ
17. Jie tarė: „Mūsų tėve, mes lenktyniavome vienas su kitu ir palikome Jusufą (Juozapą) prie mūsų daiktų ir vilkas suėdė jį. Tačiau, tu niekada nepatikėsi mumis, net jeigu mes kalbėtume tiesą.“
