وَّلَا عَلَی الَّذِیْنَ اِذَا مَاۤ اَتَوْكَ لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ قُلْتَ لَاۤ اَجِدُ مَاۤ اَحْمِلُكُمْ عَلَیْهِ ۪— تَوَلَّوْا وَّاَعْیُنُهُمْ تَفِیْضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ حَزَنًا اَلَّا یَجِدُوْا مَا یُنْفِقُوْنَ ۟ؕ
(නබිවරය!) නුඹ ඔවුනට ප්‍රවාහන පහසුකම් ලබා දෙනු පිණිස නුඹ වෙත ඔවුන් පැමිණ, නුඹද ඔවුනට "නුඹලා ඒ මත ගමන් කිරීමට ප්‍රවාහන පහසුකම් ලබා දෙන යමක් මා සතුව නැත” යැයි පවසා තමන්හට වියදම් කිරීමට යමක් නො ලැබුණු හේතුවෙන් දුකට පත්ව තම ඇස්වලින් කඳුළු හළමින් හැරී ගිය අය කෙරෙහි ද වරදක් නොමැත.
