۞ وَإِلَىٰ مَدۡيَنَ أَخَاهُمۡ شُعَيۡبٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥۖ وَلَا تَنقُصُواْ ٱلۡمِكۡيَالَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَۖ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰكُم بِخَيۡرٖ وَإِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٖ مُّحِيطٖ

84. And to [the people of] Midian, [We sent] their brother Shuʿayb. He said, “O my people, worship Allāh [alone] — you have no deity other than Him. Do not [cheat and] give short in measure or weight [16]. Indeed, I see you in prosperity, but indeed I fear for you the punishment of an all-encompassing Day.” info

[16]. The cardinal sin of Lot’s people was lust, whereas the people of Shu‘ayb’s major sin was greed, for not being fair in trade and fordealing in usury 'interest', imposing on people illegal taxes, and cheating in the measure and weight.
