وَٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ وَجۡهِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ سِرّٗا وَعَلَانِيَةٗ وَيَدۡرَءُونَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عُقۡبَى ٱلدَّارِ
22. and those who remain patient, seeking the Face of their Lord, who establish the prayer, and spend in charity from what We have provided them, both secretly and openly, and who repel evil with good [12]—for them is the good end of this home.
[12]. This verse emphasizes not returning evil for evil, even when wronged, choosing instead to act with kindness and compassion. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good, responding to negativity or harmful actions with positive and kind deeds, promoting goodness.
By consistently exhibiting good behavior, one can have a positive impact on others and potentially change their hearts.
The prophet Muhammad is the ultimate example of overcoming evil with good through his teachings and actions despite facing persecution.
