وَيَوۡمَ يَقُولُ نَادُواْ شُرَكَآءِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمۡتُمۡ فَدَعَوۡهُمۡ فَلَمۡ يَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لَهُمۡ وَجَعَلۡنَا بَيۡنَهُم مَّوۡبِقٗا

52. And [beware of] the Day, He will say, “Call upon those you claimed to be My partners.” They will call upon them, but they will not respond to them [29]. And We shall make them [share] the same destruction. info

[29]. The false deities they worshipped besides Allāh will completely forsake them on the Day of Judgment — abandoning them at the very moment they need them most. On that Day, those they invoked will disown their followers, declaring their innocence of the worship directed to them. All ties between the worshippers and their idols will be severed, and both will face the reality that none has power or intercession except Allāh alone. And both will share the same doom.
