قَالَ لَهُۥ مُوسَىٰ هَلۡ أَتَّبِعُكَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تُعَلِّمَنِ مِمَّا عُلِّمۡتَ رُشۡدٗا
66. Moses said to him, “May I follow you [39], so that you may teach me some of the right [knowledge] that you have been taught?”
[39]. Moses here gives a valuable lesson of showing humbleness to those who have greater knowledge than one’s self. He sought permission to be a follower of Al-Khiḍr’s and asked him to teach him.
