وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ فَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُواْ وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ
3. We have certainly tested those before them, so Allāh will surely make evident those who are truthful [3], and He will surely make evident the liars.
[3]. Blessed and successful is the one who remains steadfast in trials and perseveres through temptation; for after standing the test and being found faithful, he will receive the glorious reward from Allāh — the reward He has promised to those who love Him.
