يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نَٰجَيۡتُمُ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَقَدِّمُواْ بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡ نَجۡوَىٰكُمۡ صَدَقَةٗۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ وَأَطۡهَرُۚ فَإِن لَّمۡ تَجِدُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ
12O believers, when you (want to) privately consult the Messenger (Muhammad), then present before your consultation a charity. That is better for you and purer. But if you do not find anything (to offer as charity), then Allāh is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

ءَأَشۡفَقۡتُمۡ أَن تُقَدِّمُواْ بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡ نَجۡوَىٰكُمۡ صَدَقَٰتٖۚ فَإِذۡ لَمۡ تَفۡعَلُواْ وَتَابَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ
13. Are you afraid to present before your consultation charities? So when you do not, and Allah has turned to you in repentance, then keep up the prayer, pay the poor-rate, and obey Allāh and His messenger. And Allāh is All-Aware of what you do.

58
۞ أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوۡاْ قَوۡمًا غَضِبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِم مَّا هُم مِّنكُمۡ وَلَا مِنۡهُمۡ وَيَحۡلِفُونَ عَلَى ٱلۡكَذِبِ وَهُمۡ يَعۡلَمُونَ
14. Have you not seen those (hypocrites) who befriend a people upon whom is the Wrath of Allāh [11]? They are neither of you nor of them, and they (the hypocrites) swear to a lie [12] while they know.
[11]. i.e., the unbelieving Jews.
[12]. that they are Muslims.

أَعَدَّ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٗا شَدِيدًاۖ إِنَّهُمۡ سَآءَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
15. Allāh has prepared for them a severe torment. Indeed, evil is what they used to do.

ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَيۡمَٰنَهُمۡ جُنَّةٗ فَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞ
16. They made their (false) oaths as a shield (for their misdeeds), thus they turn (people) from Allah’s Way; so for them is a humiliating torment.

لَّن تُغۡنِيَ عَنۡهُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـًٔاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ
17. Neither their wealth nor their children will avail them anything against Allāh. They are the people of the Hellfire, they will abide therein forever.

58
يَوۡمَ يَبۡعَثُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ جَمِيعٗا فَيَحۡلِفُونَ لَهُۥ كَمَا يَحۡلِفُونَ لَكُمۡ وَيَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمۡ عَلَىٰ شَيۡءٍۚ أَلَآ إِنَّهُمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡكَٰذِبُونَ
18. On the Day when Allāh will resurrect them all (from the dead for Judgment), then they will swear to Him as they swear (now) to you (believers), and they think that they are on something (to stand on) [13]. indeed, it is they who are the liars.
[13]. That their lies will be believed and that they will escape the punishment of God.

58
ٱسۡتَحۡوَذَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ فَأَنسَىٰهُمۡ ذِكۡرَ ٱللَّهِۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ حِزۡبُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِۚ أَلَآ إِنَّ حِزۡبَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
19. Satan has dominated them, and made them forget the Remembrance of Allāh. They are the party of Satan. Unquestionably, Indeed, the party of Satan are the losers.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحَآدُّونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡأَذَلِّينَ
20. Indeed, those who oppose Allāh and His messenger 'Muhammad' - those will be among the most humiliated.

58
كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَأَغۡلِبَنَّ أَنَا۠ وَرُسُلِيٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٞ
21. Allāh has written, "I will surely overcome, I and My messengers." Indeed, Allāh is All-Strong, All-Mighty.
