فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلَّيۡلُ رَءَا كَوۡكَبٗاۖ قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّيۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَآ أُحِبُّ ٱلۡأٓفِلِينَ

76. When the night covered him with [darkness], he saw a star; he said: "Is this my lord?" So when it set, he said: "I do not like those that set [10]." info

[10]. This shows Prophet Abraham’s method of reasoning — not that he believed in the star, but that he was demonstrating to his people how irrational it is to worship something that disappears. It’s a lesson in using reflection and reason to reach faith in the Ever-Present Creator.
