قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَلِأَخِي وَأَدۡخِلۡنَا فِي رَحۡمَتِكَۖ وَأَنتَ أَرۡحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ

151. [Moses] said, “My Lord, forgive me and my brother [32], and admit us into Your mercy, for You are the Most Merciful of the merciful." info

[32]. Moses immediately turns from anger to humility, asking Allah’s pardon both for himself (for reacting harshly) and for Aaron (who was innocent but caught in the turmoil). This verse beautifully balances justice and compassion — after condemning the sin and seeking accountability, Moses humbly turns to Allāh for forgiveness and mercy.
It teaches that even righteous anger must end with prayer, humility, and compassion.
