وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأَعۡرَافِ رِجَالٗا يَعۡرِفُونَهُم بِسِيمَىٰهُمۡ قَالُواْ مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنكُمۡ جَمۡعُكُمۡ وَمَا كُنتُمۡ تَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

48. The companions of the heights will call out to men whom they recognize by their marks, saying: “Your great numbers and the arrogance [12] you displayed have availed you nothing.” info

[12]. Allāh detests pride. We must learn to hate what Allāh hates and to love what He loves. Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for Allāh opposes the proud but grants His grace to the humble.
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
