لَقَدِ ٱبۡتَغَوُاْ ٱلۡفِتۡنَةَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَقَلَّبُواْ لَكَ ٱلۡأُمُورَ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَظَهَرَ أَمۡرُ ٱللَّهِ وَهُمۡ كَٰرِهُونَ
48.They had already sought [to sow] dissension from before, and had upset matters for you [O Prophet, to cause you failure] until the truth [victory] came, and Allah’s decree [Islam] prevailed, although they were averse [to it].
