ಅರ್ಥಗಳ ಅನುವಾದ ಶ್ಲೋಕ: (184) ಅಧ್ಯಾಯ: ಸೂರ ಅಲ್- ಬಕರ
أَيَّامٗا مَّعۡدُودَٰتٖۚ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوۡ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٖ فَعِدَّةٞ مِّنۡ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَۚ وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُۥ فِدۡيَةٞ طَعَامُ مِسۡكِينٖۖ فَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيۡرٗا فَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّهُۥۚ وَأَن تَصُومُواْ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ
184. A certain number of days. Whoever among you is sick or on a journey, then (he shall fast) a (like) number of other days. Those who are not able to fast may effect a redemption by feeding a poor person (for each day). Whoever volunteers to give more, it is better for him; and that you fast is better for you, if you only knew52.
52. The provision of this verse has been abrogated by the next Verse 185, with a few exceptions, i.e., the very old or pregnant woman, etc.
