ആയത്ത്: 9

وَلَوۡ جَعَلۡنَٰهُ مَلَكٗا لَّجَعَلۡنَٰهُ رَجُلٗا وَلَلَبَسۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم مَّا يَلۡبِسُونَ

And if We had made him an angel, We would have surely made him [appear as] a man^[3], and We would have caused them confusion just as they are confused.

[3] This shows that they were not sincere in their demand.
