ആയത്ത്: 102

وَمَا وَجَدۡنَا لِأَكۡثَرِهِم مِّنۡ عَهۡدٖۖ وَإِن وَجَدۡنَآ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَفَٰسِقِينَ

(102) We had not found most of them honouring of their pledge; nay, but We found most of them transgressors^[1709].

[1709] “And surely most of the earlier generations had strayed before them” (37: 71).
