وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ قَآئِمَةٞ فَضَحِكَتۡ فَبَشَّرۡنَٰهَا بِإِسۡحَٰقَ وَمِن وَرَآءِ إِسۡحَٰقَ يَعۡقُوبَ
71. His wife was standing [nearby], so she laughed [10]. Then We gave her the glad tidings of [the birth of] Isaac, and after Isaac, of Jacob.
[10]. From a position of concealment, veiled in her hijab. I.e., Sarah. Either, because the messengers did not eat from their food, or for being glad for the destruction of the people of Lot.
