وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أَنۡ أَخۡرِجۡ قَوۡمَكَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ وَذَكِّرۡهُم بِأَيَّىٰمِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٖ شَكُورٖ
5. Indeed, We sent Moses with Our signs, saying, “Bring your people out of darkness into light [3], and remind them of the Days of Allāh.” Surely in this are signs for every patient and grateful person [4].
[3]. Light has always been a symbol of goodness, knowledge, wisdom, grace, hope, and Allah's Revelation. By contrast, darkness has been associated with evil, sin, and despair.
[4]. Come before His presence with a thankful heart, and praise Him with joy and reverence. Be grateful to Him, and speak blessings of His Name, for Allāh is good —
His love never ends, and His faithfulness remains forever, generation after generation.
