وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ ءَايَتَيۡنِۖ فَمَحَوۡنَآ ءَايَةَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَجَعَلۡنَآ ءَايَةَ ٱلنَّهَارِ مُبۡصِرَةٗ لِّتَبۡتَغُواْ فَضۡلٗا مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَلِتَعۡلَمُواْ عَدَدَ ٱلسِّنِينَ وَٱلۡحِسَابَۚ وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٖ فَصَّلۡنَٰهُ تَفۡصِيلٗا
12. We made the night and the day as two signs [12]. Then We dimmed the sign of the night and made the sign of the day bright, so that you may seek your Lord’s bounty and know the number of years and the account [of time]. And We have explained everything in detail.
[12]. Affirming God’s Oneness, perfect Knowledge, and absolute Power.
