إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَذَكَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرٗا وَٱنتَصَرُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا ظُلِمُواْۗ وَسَيَعۡلَمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَيَّ مُنقَلَبٖ يَنقَلِبُونَ
227. Except those who believe, do righteous deeds, remember Allāh often, and defend themselves after being wronged. And those who work iniquity [22] will soon know as to what place of return they shall return [23].
[22]. By associating others with Allāh, or committing other deadly sins.
[23]. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the orphans; plead the case of the widow. We must work for righteousness and justice if we are to be true to our Islamic faith.
