ߞߘߐ ߟߎ߬ ߘߟߊߡߌ߬ߘߊ߬ߟߌ ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: (33) ߝߐߘߊ ߘߏ߫: ߕߊߟߏ߲ߕߊߟߏ߲ߓߊ ߝߐߘߊ
وَلَمَّآ أَن جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَا لُوطٗا سِيٓءَ بِهِمۡ وَضَاقَ بِهِمۡ ذَرۡعٗاۖ وَقَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهۡلَكَ إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَكَ كَانَتۡ مِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
33. When Our (angelic) messengers came to Lot, he was grieved, and felt discomfort and powerless (to protect them). They said: "Fear not¹⁴, nor grieve; we shall certainly deliver you and your family, except your spouse; she will be of those who remain behind (to perish)."
14. Allah’s precious people are commanded not to be afraid: “Fear not, for I will save you. Do not be afraid, for I am with you”. The pattern of “fear not . . . for” followed by a Divine action is consistently repeated in the Qur’an when Allah instructs His people not to be afraid. Allah’s presence restrains fear. How reassuring to know that regardless of where life leads us, we need not fear. Even though you walk through the darkest valley, fear no evil, for Allah is with you.
