Vertaling van de betekenissen Vers: (7) Surah: Soerat El-Maidah (De tafel)
وَٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَمِيثَٰقَهُ ٱلَّذِي وَاثَقَكُم بِهِۦٓ إِذۡ قُلۡتُمۡ سَمِعۡنَا وَأَطَعۡنَاۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
7. Remember the Favor of Allah on you and His covenant with which He bound you firmly15, when you said: "We hear and we obey." So fear Allah and keep His commandments. Allah knows what is in the chests (of mankind).
15. This verse which strongly reminds the believers of their binding pledge with Allah, including that of respecting His ordained laws, is central to the believing community.
