ߞߘߐ ߟߎ߬ ߘߟߊߡߌ߬ߘߊ߬ߟߌ ߝߐߘߊ ߘߏ߫ ߢߐ߲߬ߞߌ߲߬ߣߍ߲ - ߊ߲߬ߞߌ߬ߟߋ߬ߞߊ߲ ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊ - ߊ߳ߺߊߓߑߘߎ߫ ߊ.ߟߟߊ߯ߤߌ߫ ߤ߭ߛߊߣߎ߲߫ ߦߊ߰ߞߎߓߊ߫ - ߞߐߜߍ ߝߙߍߕߍ 499 - ߞߎ߬ߙߣߊ߬ ߞߟߊߒߞߋ ߔߘߋߞߎ

Al-Jāthiyah

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 1

حمٓ

1. Ha Meem¹.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 2

تَنزِيلُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ

2.The revelation of the Book 'this Qur’an' is from Allāh, the All-Mighty, All-Wise.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 3

إِنَّ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

3. Indeed, in the heavens and the earth there are signs for the believers.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 4

وَفِي خَلۡقِكُمۡ وَمَا يَبُثُّ مِن دَآبَّةٍ ءَايَٰتٞ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُوقِنُونَ

4. And in your own creation and what He 'Allāh' dispersed of living beings are signs for people who are certain 'in faith'.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 5

وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن رِّزۡقٖ فَأَحۡيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا وَتَصۡرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ ءَايَٰتٞ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ

5. In the alternation of the night and day, and what Allāh sends down of provision from the sky 'the rain' to revive the barren earth after its death, and the directing of the winds², are signs for a people who reason.

2. I.e., sometimes towards the east or north, and sometimes towards the south or west, sometimes bringing glad tidings of rain etc., and sometimes bringing torment.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 6

تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتۡلُوهَا عَلَيۡكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۭ بَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

6. These are the Verses of Allāh which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement they believe after 'denying' Allāh and His verses?

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 7

وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٖ

7. Woe to every sinful habitual liar,

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 8

يَسۡمَعُ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسۡتَكۡبِرٗا كَأَن لَّمۡ يَسۡمَعۡهَاۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ

8. Who hears the Verses of Allāh recited to him, then persists 'in his' arrogance as though he had not heard them. Tell him that he will suffer a painful torment.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 9

وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا شَيۡـًٔا ٱتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞ

9. When he comes to know of any of Our verses 'of this Qur’an', he takes them in ridicule. These will have a humiliating torment.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 10

مِّن وَرَآئِهِمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَلَا يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُم مَّا كَسَبُواْ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا مَا ٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡلِيَآءَۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

10. In front of them is Gehinnom 'Hell'. There will not benefit them anything of what they earned 'of worldly gains', nor 'the idols' they took for protectors besides Allāh. They will have a grievous torment.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 11

هَٰذَا هُدٗىۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مِّن رِّجۡزٍ أَلِيمٌ

11. This 'Qur’an' is Guidance. Those who deny the Verses of their Lord 'Allāh', they will have a scourge of painful torment.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 12

۞ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ لِتَجۡرِيَ ٱلۡفُلۡكُ فِيهِ بِأَمۡرِهِۦ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

12. It is Allāh Who subjected the sea for you so that ships sail on by His command and that you may seek His bounty, so that you may be grateful 'to Him'.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 13

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا مِّنۡهُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

13. He 'also' subjected for you all that is in the heavens³ and all that is in the earth⁴, all, from Him5. There are certainly signs in this for a people who reflect.

3. of sun, moon, stars, etc.
4. of seas, rivers, trees, mountains, etc.
5. All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of Allāh.
