وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحُكۡمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقۡنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَفَضَّلۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
16. And indeed, We gave the children of Israel the Scripture, judiciousness [9], and Prophethood, and provided them with good things, and We preferred them above all other peoples (of their time) [10].
[9]. To guide people and judge among them.
[10]. By sending them many prophets from among the descendants of Abraham.
