ߞߘߐ ߟߎ߬ ߘߟߊߡߌ߬ߘߊ߬ߟߌ ߝߐߘߊ ߘߏ߫ ߞߍ߬ߟߍ - ߊ߲߬ߞߌ߬ߟߋ߬ߞߊ߲ ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊ - ߊ߳ߺߊߓߑߘߎ߫ ߊ.ߟߟߊ߯ߤߌ߫ ߤ߭ߛߊߣߎ߲߫ ߦߊ߰ߞߎߓߊ߫ - ߞߎ߬ߙߣߊ߬ ߞߟߊߒߞߋ ߔߘߋߞߎ

Muhammad

1 : 47

ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَضَلَّ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

1. Those who disbelieve (in the Truth) and avert (people) from Allah’s Way (Islam), He (Allāh) will cause to be their (good) deeds lost.

2 : 47

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَءَامَنُواْ بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمۡ كَفَّرَ عَنۡهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ وَأَصۡلَحَ بَالَهُمۡ

2. And those who believe and do righteous deeds ^[1], and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad ^[2], and it is the very Truth from their Lord (Allāh), He will expiate from them their sins, and will make good their condition. 

[1]. The companions of the Prophet said: "While we were sitting with the Prophet in the mosque, a man came riding on a camel. He made his camel kneel down in the mosque, tied its foreleg and then said: "Who amongst you is Muhammad?" At that time the Prophet was sitting amongst us leaning on his arm. We replied: "This white man reclining on his arm." The man then addressed him, "O Son of 'Abdul Muttalib."The Prophet said: "I am here to answer your questions." The man said to the Prophet: "I want to ask you something and will be hard in questioning. So do not get angry." The Prophet said, "Ask whatever you want." The man said, "I ask you by your Lord, and the Lord of those who were before you, has Allāh 'God' sent you as a messenger to all the mankind?" The Prophet replied, "By Allāh, yes." The man further said, "I ask you by Allāh, has Allāh ordered you to offer five prayers in a day and night? He replied, "By Allāh, Yes." The man further said, "I ask you by Allāh, has Allāh ordered you to observe fasts during this month of the year (i.e. in Ramadan)?" He replied, "By Allāh, yes." The man further said, "I ask you by Allāh, has Allāh ordered you to take Zakat (obligatory alms) from our rich people and distribute it amongst our poor people?" The Prophet replied, "By Allāh, yes." Thereupon that man said, "I have believed in all that with which you have been sent, and I have been sent by my people as an envoy."
[2]. Muhammad, God's messenger said: "My similitude in comparison with the other prophets before me, is that of a man who has built a house nicely and beautifully, except for a place of one brick in a corner. The people go about it and wonder at its beauty, but say, 'Would that this brick be put in its place'. I am the illuminating lamp that lights the dark and I am the stone that the builders refused. This is really a prophecy referring to Prophet Muhammad mentioned in the Psalm 118: "The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner," (Psalm 118:22). And Jesus mentioned again in the Gospel. "Jesus said unto them, Did you never read in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner ?" (Matthew 21:42). The Jewish had refused Ishmael and also the Prophet Muhammad as God's last and final messenger, but the day would come when they would have to confess their sad mistake.

3 : 47

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلۡبَٰطِلَ وَأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلۡحَقَّ مِن رَّبِّهِمۡۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضۡرِبُ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ أَمۡثَٰلَهُمۡ

3. This is because those who deny (Allāh and His messenger Muhammad) follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord (Allāh). Thus does Allāh set forth for mankind their similitudes.

4 : 47

فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَضَرۡبَ ٱلرِّقَابِ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَثۡخَنتُمُوهُمۡ فَشُدُّواْ ٱلۡوَثَاقَ فَإِمَّا مَنَّۢا بَعۡدُ وَإِمَّا فِدَآءً حَتَّىٰ تَضَعَ ٱلۡحَرۡبُ أَوۡزَارَهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَۖ وَلَوۡ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ لَٱنتَصَرَ مِنۡهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن لِّيَبۡلُوَاْ بَعۡضَكُم بِبَعۡضٖۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَلَن يُضِلَّ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

4. So, when you encounter the disbelievers (in battle), smite 'their' necks until when you have thoroughly subdued them, then bind firmly the bond (on them), and afterwards either set them free as a favor or let them ransom themselves until the war ends (and peace prevails). That is (Our command). If Allāh had willed, He could have taken retribution from them, but to test some of you by means of others. And those who have been killed in the Cause of Allāh, never will He render their (good) deeds void.

5 : 47

سَيَهۡدِيهِمۡ وَيُصۡلِحُ بَالَهُمۡ

5. He will guide them and improve their condition,

6 : 47

وَيُدۡخِلُهُمُ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ عَرَّفَهَا لَهُمۡ

6. And will admit them into the Paradise, He has made it known to them.

7 : 47

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن تَنصُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ يَنصُرۡكُمۡ وَيُثَبِّتۡ أَقۡدَامَكُمۡ

7. O believers, if you help 'the Cause of' Allāh, He will help you, and make firm your feet (on the battle ground).

8 : 47

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَتَعۡسٗا لَّهُمۡ وَأَضَلَّ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

8. And those who disbelieve (in the Truth) - theirs is destruction, and He cause their (good) deeds to be lost.

9 : 47

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَرِهُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

9. This is because they hated what Allāh (God) has sent down (of the Qur’an), so He rendered their deeds worthless.

10 : 47

۞ أَفَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ دَمَّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَمۡثَٰلُهَا

10. Have they not traveled throughout the land to see how was the end of those before them. Allāh destroyed (everything) over them, and for the disbelievers is something similar.

11 : 47

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَوۡلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَأَنَّ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ لَا مَوۡلَىٰ لَهُمۡ

11. This is because Allāh is the Protector of those who believe, and that the disbelievers have no protector.

12 : 47

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُدۡخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأۡكُلُونَ كَمَا تَأۡكُلُ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمُ وَٱلنَّارُ مَثۡوٗى لَّهُمۡ

12. Indeed, Allāh admits those who believe and do righteous deeds Gardens under which rivers flow. But the unbelievers enjoy themselves (in this world) and eat as cattle eat, and the Fire will be their final abode.

13 : 47

وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ هِيَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةٗ مِّن قَرۡيَتِكَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَخۡرَجَتۡكَ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمۡ

13. How many a (sinful) town that was more superior in strength than your town (Makkah) that expelled you (O Muhammad), We destroyed them, and there was none who could help them.

14 : 47

أَفَمَن كَانَ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ كَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُم

14. Is he who is upon a clear Proof from his Lord (Allāh) like him to whom the evil of his work is made fair seeming, and they follow their own desires?

15 : 47

مَّثَلُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِي وُعِدَ ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۖ فِيهَآ أَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّن مَّآءٍ غَيۡرِ ءَاسِنٖ وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّن لَّبَنٖ لَّمۡ يَتَغَيَّرۡ طَعۡمُهُۥ وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّنۡ خَمۡرٖ لَّذَّةٖ لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّنۡ عَسَلٖ مُّصَفّٗىۖ وَلَهُمۡ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ وَمَغۡفِرَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡۖ كَمَنۡ هُوَ خَٰلِدٞ فِي ٱلنَّارِ وَسُقُواْ مَآءً حَمِيمٗا فَقَطَّعَ أَمۡعَآءَهُمۡ

15. The parable of the Paradise which is promised to the righteous. Therein are rivers of water not staling, rivers of milk that never changes in taste, rivers of wine delicious for drinkers, and rivers of crystal clear purified honey. And they will have therein all (kinds of) fruits and forgiveness from their Lord (Allāh) like he who (will) abide forever in the Fire, and are given to drink water boiling so it cuts their bowels asunder.

16 : 47

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَسۡتَمِعُ إِلَيۡكَ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا خَرَجُواْ مِنۡ عِندِكَ قَالُواْ لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ مَاذَا قَالَ ءَانِفًاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ

16. Among them are those who (pretend to) listen to you (Muhammad), but when they go out from you, they say to those who have been given the knowledge: "What has he said just now?" These are the ones upon whose hearts Allāh has set a seal, and who follow their lowly desires.

17 : 47

وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱهۡتَدَوۡاْ زَادَهُمۡ هُدٗى وَءَاتَىٰهُمۡ تَقۡوَىٰهُمۡ

17. But those who are 'rightly' guided, Allāh increases them in guidance ^[3] and grants them their righteousness.

[3]. O Allāh, guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are my only God, my only Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me the Qur'an and Sunnah. I have chosen Islam, the way of all Prophets, the way of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, among others, I have set my heart on your teachings. Give me understanding of the Qur'an and Sunnah, and I will obey your Commandments; I will put them into practice with all my heart. Then I will know the truth of Islam, and this truth will set me free. One of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad reported that the Messenger of God (ﷺ) said to him: "Say: O Allāh, guide me and keep me steadfast on the right path."
The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, would say, “O Allāh, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity and self- sufficiency.”

18 : 47

فَهَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُم بَغۡتَةٗۖ فَقَدۡ جَآءَ أَشۡرَاطُهَاۚ فَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمۡ إِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ذِكۡرَىٰهُمۡ

18. But do they (the deniers) wait for anything except the Hour 'of Doom- that it should come to them all of a sudden? Its portents have already come, what use will it be then their remembrance once it has come upon them ^[4]?

[4]. The appearance of The Antichrist, the descent of Jesus son of Mary, the swift assault by Gog and Magog, the appearance of the beast to admonish the people, and the rising of the sun from the West.

19 : 47

فَٱعۡلَمۡ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَكُمۡ وَمَثۡوَىٰكُمۡ

19. So know that there is no god 'worthy of worship' except Allāh ^[5]. And ask forgiveness for your sin, and for (the sins of) the believing men and women. And Allāh knows well your movements and your resting place.

[5]. The Prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him said: "Whoever says: There is no god but Allāh and disbelieves in what is worshiped other than Allāh, his wealth and blood are forbidden, and his reckoning is with Allāh."

20 : 47

وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَتۡ سُورَةٞۖ فَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتۡ سُورَةٞ مُّحۡكَمَةٞ وَذُكِرَ فِيهَا ٱلۡقِتَالُ رَأَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيۡكَ نَظَرَ ٱلۡمَغۡشِيِّ عَلَيۡهِ مِنَ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۖ فَأَوۡلَىٰ لَهُمۡ

20. And those who believe say: "Why has a Chapter (of the Qur’an) not been sent down?" But when a decisive Chapter is revealed, and fighting is mentioned therein, you will see those in whose hearts is a sickness (of hypocrisy) looking at you a look of one fainting by death. But more appropriate for them,

21 : 47

طَاعَةٞ وَقَوۡلٞ مَّعۡرُوفٞۚ فَإِذَا عَزَمَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ فَلَوۡ صَدَقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَكَانَ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۡ

21. Obedience and acceptable word. So when the matter (preparation for fight) is determined, then if they had been true to Allāh, it would certainly have been better for them.

22 : 47

فَهَلۡ عَسَيۡتُمۡ إِن تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ أَن تُفۡسِدُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوٓاْ أَرۡحَامَكُمۡ

22. Would you then, if you turn away ^[6] cause corruption in the land and sever your ties of kinship ^[7]?

[6]. Another meaning: Would you then, if you held authority in the land, you would disobey (Allāh), spread mischief, and violate the family ties.
[7]. Muhammad, God's Messenger, said: "Three (types of people) will not enter Paradise: (1) the habitual wine (alcohol) drinker, (2) the believer in sorcery (and astrology is among it), and (3) the one who severs the ties of kinship."

23 : 47

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَأَصَمَّهُمۡ وَأَعۡمَىٰٓ أَبۡصَٰرَهُمۡ

23. These it is the ones whom Allāh has cursed so He has made them deaf and blinded their eyes (to the Truth).

24 : 47

أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ أَمۡ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقۡفَالُهَآ

24. Do they not then reflect on the Qur’an? Or are there locks on their hearts ^[8]?

[8]. Out of the heart come evil thoughts. The state of our heart matters because evil residing there can overflow into our lives. Both our exterior and interior matter.
One of the most powerful ways to grow in our relationship with Allāh is to read the Qur’an. Allāh (God) reveals Himself to us through the Qur’an that we might know Him well. The Qur’an grant us guidance on how to live in this life and provide comfort when we face times of sorrow. In addition to that, it is the Word of Allāh that protects us from evil. The Word of Allāh offers freedom, healing, and hope.

25 : 47

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱرۡتَدُّواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَدۡبَٰرِهِم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡهُدَى ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ سَوَّلَ لَهُمۡ وَأَمۡلَىٰ لَهُمۡ

25. Indeed, those who have turned on their backs (as apostates) after the guidance has become clear to them, Satan enticed them, and filled them with (false) hopes.

26 : 47

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَالُواْ لِلَّذِينَ كَرِهُواْ مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ سَنُطِيعُكُمۡ فِي بَعۡضِ ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ إِسۡرَارَهُمۡ

26. This is because they say to those who hate what Allāh has sent down (of revelation): "We shall obey you in some of the command." But Allāh knows what they keep secret.

27 : 47

فَكَيۡفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ

27. But how (will it be) when the angels take them in death, striking their faces and backs.

28 : 47

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱتَّبَعُواْ مَآ أَسۡخَطَ ٱللَّهَ وَكَرِهُواْ رِضۡوَٰنَهُۥ فَأَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

28. This is because they followed what displeased Allāh and are averse to His pleasure, so He has made void their deeds.

29 : 47

أَمۡ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ أَن لَّن يُخۡرِجَ ٱللَّهُ أَضۡغَٰنَهُمۡ

29. Or do those in whose hearts is a sickness (of hypocrisy) think that Allāh will never bring out their malice?

30 : 47

وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَأَرَيۡنَٰكَهُمۡ فَلَعَرَفۡتَهُم بِسِيمَٰهُمۡۚ وَلَتَعۡرِفَنَّهُمۡ فِي لَحۡنِ ٱلۡقَوۡلِۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ

30.  Had We willed, We could have shown them to you, so that you would indeed know them by their marks and and indeed you will surely know them by the tone 'of their' speech. Allāh knows all your deeds.

31 : 47

وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُمۡ حَتَّىٰ نَعۡلَمَ ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ وَنَبۡلُوَاْ أَخۡبَارَكُمۡ

31. We shall certainly test you until We make evident those among you who strive hard (for the Cause of Allāh), and the patient ones, and We will test your tidings.

32 : 47

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَشَآقُّواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ لَن يَضُرُّواْ ٱللَّهَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَسَيُحۡبِطُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

32. Indeed, those who disbelieve (in the Truth), and hinder (people) from Allah’s Way, and oppose the Messenger (Muhammad) after the guidance has become clear to them, they cannot harm Allāh in any way, and He will make void their deeds.

33 : 47

۞ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَلَا تُبۡطِلُوٓاْ أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ

33. O believers, obey Allāh and obey the messenger (Muhammad), and do not invalidate your 'good' deeds ^[9].

[9]. One of the well-established facts that is affirmed by the Qur’an is that sins and major sins do not erase all of the good deeds of the believer, and that there is nothing that erases the good deeds of a believer altogether except denial of faith and polytheism i.e., associating partners (equals) with Allāh.

34 : 47

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ مَاتُواْ وَهُمۡ كُفَّارٞ فَلَن يَغۡفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡ

34. Indeed, those who disbelieve (in the Truth) and hinder 'people' from Allah’s Way, then die while they are disbelievers - Allāh will never forgive them.

35 : 47

فَلَا تَهِنُواْ وَتَدۡعُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلسَّلۡمِ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَوۡنَ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَكُمۡ وَلَن يَتِرَكُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ

35. So do not be weak hearted and call for (unjust) peace (settlement) and you have the upper hand. And Allāh is with you ^[10], and He will never deprive you of (the reward of) your good deeds.

[10]. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord (Allāh) your God is with you wherever you go.

36 : 47

إِنَّمَا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا لَعِبٞ وَلَهۡوٞۚ وَإِن تُؤۡمِنُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ يُؤۡتِكُمۡ أُجُورَكُمۡ وَلَا يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلَكُمۡ

36. The life of this world is only play and amusement. And If you believe ^[11] and guard yourselves (against evil), He will give you your rewards, and will not ask you your wealth ^[12].

[11]. in Allāh and His messenger Muhammad
[12]. All of it, rather, only the alms that are required from it for the poor.

37 : 47

إِن يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمُوهَا فَيُحۡفِكُمۡ تَبۡخَلُواْ وَيُخۡرِجۡ أَضۡغَٰنَكُمۡ

37. If He should ask you of it (O peopl), and press you, you would be niggardly, and He would bring forth your unwillingness,

38 : 47

هَٰٓأَنتُمۡ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ تُدۡعَوۡنَ لِتُنفِقُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَمِنكُم مَّن يَبۡخَلُۖ وَمَن يَبۡخَلۡ فَإِنَّمَا يَبۡخَلُ عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦۚ وَٱللَّهُ ٱلۡغَنِيُّ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُۚ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوۡاْ يَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ قَوۡمًا غَيۡرَكُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوٓاْ أَمۡثَٰلَكُم

38. Here you are - being called to spend in the cause of Allāh - then among you are those who are stingy. Whoever is stingy, is stingy against his own self. Allāh is Rich (free of all needs) and you are poor who stand in need (of Him). If you 'still' turn away, He will replace you with another people, then they will not be like you.
