Salin ng mga Kahulugan Surah: Muhammad   Ayah:

Muhammad

1. Those who deny 'the Truth' and avert 'people' from Allah’s Way 'Islam', He 'Allāh' will render their 'good' deeds void.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
2. But those who believe and do righteous deeds¹, and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad², and it is the very Truth from their Lord 'Allāh', He will expiate from them their sins, and will make good their condition.
1. The companions of the Prophet said: "While we were sitting with the Prophet in the mosque, a man came riding on a camel. He made his camel kneel down in the mosque, tied its foreleg and then said: "Who amongst you is Muhammad?" At that time the Prophet was sitting amongst us leaning on his arm. We replied: "This white man reclining on his arm." The man then addressed him, "O Son of 'Abdul Muttalib."The Prophet said: "I am here to answer your questions." The man said to the Prophet: "I want to ask you something and will be hard in questioning. So do not get angry." The Prophet said, "Ask whatever you want." The man said, "I ask you by your Lord, and the Lord of those who were before you, has Allāh 'God' sent you as a messenger to all the mankind?" The Prophet replied, "By Allāh, yes." The man further said, "I ask you by Allāh, has Allāh ordered you to offer five prayers in a day and night? He replied, "By Allāh, Yes." The man further said, "I ask you by Allāh, has Allāh ordered you to observe fasts during this month of the year (i.e. in Ramadan)?" He replied, "By Allāh, yes." The man further said, "I ask you by Allāh, has Allāh ordered you to take Zakat (obligatory alms) from our rich people and distribute it amongst our poor people?" The Prophet replied, "By Allāh, yes." Thereupon that man said, "I have believed in all that with which you have been sent, and I have been sent by my people as an envoy."
2. Muhammad, God's messenger said: "My similitude in comparison with the other prophets before me, is that of a man who has built a house nicely and beautifully, except for a place of one brick in a corner. The people go about it and wonder at its beauty, but say, 'Would that this brick be put in its place'. I am the illuminating lamp that lights the dark and I am the stone that the builders refused. This is really a prophecy referring to Prophet Muhammad mentioned in the Psalm 118: "The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner," (Psalm 118:22). And Jesus mentioned again in the Gospel. "Jesus said unto them, Did you never read in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner ?" (Matthew 21:42). The Jewish had refused Ishmael and also the Prophet Muhammad as God's last and final messenger, but the day would come when they would have to confess their sad mistake.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
3. This is because those who deny 'Allāh and His messenger Muhammad' follow falsehood, while the believers follow the Truth from their Lord 'Allāh'. Thus does Allāh set forth for mankind their examples.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
4. So, when you encounter the disbelievers 'in battle', smite 'their' necks until when you have thoroughly subdued them, then bind a bond firmly 'on them', and afterwards either set them free as a favor or let them ransom themselves until the war ends 'and peace prevails'. That is 'Our command'. If Allāh had willed, He Himself would certainly have chastised them, but He wants to test some of you by means of others. Those who are killed in the Cause of Allāh, never will He render their 'good' deeds void.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
5. He will guide them and set their state aright.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
6. And will admit them into the Paradise which He has made known to them.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
7. O believers, if you help 'the Cause of' Allāh, He will help you, and make firm your feet (on the battle ground).
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
8. But the unbelievers, for them is misery, and He will render their deeds void.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
9. This is because they hated what Allāh 'God' has sent down 'of the Qur’an', so He rendered their deeds worthless.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
10. Have they not traveled throughout the land to see how was the end of those before them. Allāh brought down destruction upon them 'for their sins', and the deniers will also face a similar perdition.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
11. This is because Allāh is the Protector of the believers, but the deniers have no protector.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
12. Allāh will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds Gardens under which rivers flow. But the unbelievers enjoy themselves 'in this world' and eat as cattle eat, and the Fire will be their final abode.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
13. How many a 'sinful' town We destroyed which was more powerful than your town 'Makkah' that expelled you, and there was none to help them.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
14. Is he who has a clear Proof from his Lord 'Allāh' like him to whom the evil of his work is made fair seeming, and follow 'only' their lowly desires?
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
15. The description of the Paradise which is promised to the righteous is that in which there are rivers of pure water, rivers of milk of unchangeable taste, rivers of wine delicious for drinkers, and rivers of crystal clear purified honey. They will have therein all 'kinds of' fruits and forgiveness from 'Allāh' their Lord. 'Are these' like those who will abide in the Hellfire forever, and are given to drink boiling water that cuts-up their intestines to bits and pieces?
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
16. Among them are those who 'pretend to' listen to you 'Muhammad', but when they go out from you, they say to those who have been given the knowledge: "What has he said just now?" These are the ones upon whose hearts Allāh has set a seal, and who follow their lowly desires.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
17. But those who are 'rightly' guided, Allāh increases them in guidance and grants them their righteousness.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
18. Do they then wait for anything except the Hour 'of Doom- that it should come to them all of a sudden? Its Signs have already come. what use will it be then their remembrance3?
3. The appearance of The Antichrist, the descent of Jesus son of Mary, the swift assault by Gog and Magog, the appearance of the beast to admonish the people, and the rising of the sun from the West.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
19. So know that there is no god 'worthy of worship' except Allāh3. Ask forgiveness for your sin, and for 'the sins of' the believing men and women. For Allāh knows well your movements and your resting place.
3. The Prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him said: "Whoever says: There is no god but Allāh and disbelieves in what is worshiped other than Allāh, his wealth and blood are forbidden, and his reckoning is with Allāh."
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
20. And the believers say: "Why has not a Chapter (about fighting for the Cause of God) sent down 'to us'?" But when a decisive Chapter 'of the Qur’an' is revealed, and fighting is mentioned therein, you will see those in whose hearts is a sickness 'of hypocrisy' look to you with the look of one suffering the agony of death. Woe to them.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
21. (Better for them would have been) obedience 'to Allāh' and good words. When the matter (of fighting against the forces of evil) is decided, if they had been true to Allāh, it would certainly have been better for them.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
22. Would you then, if you turn away4 cause corruption in the land and sever the ties of kinship5?
4. Another meaning: Would you then, if you held authority in the land, you would disobey (Allāh), spread mischief, and violate the family ties.
5. Muhammad, God's Messenger, said: "Three (types of people) will not enter Paradise: (1) the habitual wine (alcohol) drinker, (2) the believer in sorcery (and astrology is among it), and (3) the one who severs the ties of kinship."
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
23. These it is whom Allāh has cursed so He has made them deaf and blinded their eyes 'to the Truth'.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
24. Do they not then reflect on the Qur’an? Or are there locks on their hearts?6
6. Out of the heart come evil thoughts. The state of our heart matters because evil residing there can overflow into our lives. Both our exterior and interior matter.
One of the most powerful ways to grow in our relationship with Allāh is to read the Qur’an. Allāh (God) reveals Himself to us through the Qur’an that we might know Him well. The Qur’an grant us guidance on how to live in this life and provide comfort when we face times of sorrow. In addition to that, it is the Word of Allāh that protects us from evil. The Word of Allāh offers freedom, healing, and hope.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
25. Those who have turned their backs 'as apostates' after the guidance has become clear to them, it is Satan who enticed them, filling them with false hopes.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
26. This is because they say to those who hate what Allāh has sent down 'of revelation': "We shall obey you in certain matters." But Allāh knows their secrets.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
27. But how will it be when the angels take their souls, striking their faces and backs.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
28. This is because they follow what is displeasing to Allāh and are averse to His pleasure, so He has made void their deeds.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
29. Or do those in whose hearts is a sickness 'of hypocrisy' think that Allāh will never bring out their malice?
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
30. Had We willed, We could have shown them to you, so that you would certainly have recognized them by their marks and you can recognize them by the tone of 'their' speech. Allāh knows all your deeds.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
31. We shall certainly test you until We prove those among you who strive hard (for the Cause of Allāh), and the patient ones, and make your case manifest.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
32. Those who deny 'the Truth', and hinder 'people' from Allah’s Way, and oppose the Messenger 'Muhammad' after the guidance has become clear to them, they cannot harm Allāh in any way, and He will make void their deeds.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
33. O believers, obey Allāh and obey the messenger 'Muhammad', and do not invalidate your 'good' deeds7.
7. One of the well-established facts that is affirmed by the Qur’an is that sins and major sins do not erase all of the good deeds of the believer, and that there is nothing that erases the good deeds of a believer altogether except denial of faith and polytheism i.e., associating partners (equals) with Allāh.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
34. Those who deny 'the Truth' and hinder 'people' from Allah’s Way, then die while they are deniers - Allāh will never forgive them.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
35. So do not be weak hearted and do not appeal for 'unjust' peace 'settlement'; you have the upper hand. For Allāh is with you, and He will never decrease the reward of your good deeds.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
36. The life of this world is only play and passing delight. If you believe8 and fear Allāh, and shun evil, He will give you your rewards, and will not ask you your wealth9.
8. in Allāh and His messenger Muhammad
9. All of it, rather, only the alms that are required from it for the poor.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
37. If He were to ask you of it, and urge you, you would be niggardly, and He will bring out your malice.
Ang mga Tafsir na Arabe:
38. Here you are - being called to spend in the cause of Allāh 'God- - but among you are those who are stingy. Whoever is stingy, is stingy against his own self. Allāh is Rich (free of all needs) and you are poor who stand in need 'of Him'. If you 'still' turn away, He will replace you with another people, then they will not be like you.
